Loweswater & Holme Wood

A varied hike on the edge of the lake district

Summary

Loweswater is the only lake in the national park where the water flows back into the park and away from the sea. This is an incredible varied hike through meadows alongside Loweswater, as you meander your way through the woodland paths of Holme Wood, and up onto an open moorland where you are greeted by steep grassy hillsides that offer picturesque scenes of some of the lakes finest fells.

A hike not to be missed!
