Summary

Tarn Hows is situated in the lake district in-between Coniston and Ambleside. The picturesque Tarn offers a brilliant landscape for capturing nature and wildlife and makes for a lovely afternoon/morning stroll. At only 2 miles, it is a walk anybody can enjoy and will not be disappointed by the calming nature of the area and reflective waters of the Tarn. If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, there are a few additional trials that go off the original path than can take you a bit higher for some great views.
