La Corse
Summary
Situated in the Mediterranean Sea, La Corse is a French island just off mainland France. It has a different feeling to the mainland from the language, cuisine, turquoise seas and don’t forget that it is a very mountainous island too. The winding roads go high up in the mountains that look down into the villages below through the swooping valleys. Corsica is a wealthy island, so a lot of expensive boats dock here from counties around Europe.
I visited the island in 2005/2006 so I was only young, but from what I can remember I really enjoyed the holiday and thought it would be a good destination to list. I can’t remember too much of where we stayed and what the towns were called but have a browse of some of the photo’s that shows what’s on offer when visiting La Corse.
